DIGITALVINTAGE
DigitalVintage is a personal project I worked on between 2014-2015. At the time, there was a trend of photographers going back to very old photography techniques. The one that caught my eye was that of tintypes. There was something about the medium itself that creates a feeling of something actually being captured in the metal itself.
As I didn't have the money to get into true tintypes, I researched and found a way to create a similar effect digitally to be printed on aluminum sheets.
There was a mixture of people who sat for this project. Friends, acquaintances and even some people I had never met before. In each case I wanted to capture a moment where you could stare into their eyes and peek into the depths of their soul.
If you're interested in sitting for this project, please get in touch.
